If you enjoy dressing-up and parading in Paris streets, meet on Sunday February 23, 2020 for the 23rd edition of the world-famous Paris Carnival!
And no need to say that, this year again, Paris Carnival organizers decided to put on a great spread with a theme likely to trigger everyone’s imagination: "A fantastic air world".
So, to experience this unique moment, the 22nd parade of Paris Carnival Promenade du Boeuf Gras will parade as usual the Sunday before Mardi Gras meaning on Sunday February 23, 2020.
As for the route, meet at 2 p.m. at the place Gambetta to leave with the cortege. The parade plans to arriver towards 5 p.m at the Place de la République.

The parade could stay up to 8 p.m., except possible change. End of the party and break-up at 8 p.m.
For the record, this carnival is a festive event that is free, voluntary, free of charge, traditional, independent, self-managed, not-for-profit and non-subsidized. Everyone is welcome! You don't have to sign up to be part of it. You can decide at the last minute to take part in it or not, you can follow the parade on a portion of the route or not. You can choose whatever spot you want in both processions. It's the real carnival not a street show.
And don’t forget either that, on Sunday March 22, 2020, another traditional Paris Carnival parade: the procession of the Reines des Blanchisseuses at mid-Lent, the Carnaval des Femmes. Women are invited to dress up as queens and men in women, if they dare.
