On September 16 and 17, 2017, Paris Musée des Arts Forains takes part in European Heritage Days. This private museum usually closed to the public and full of merry-go-rounds will welcome children and adults for their greatest pleasure.
On September 16-17, 2017, on European Heritage Days, youth is given pride of place. On this occasion, the Musée des Arts Forains will exceptionally open its doors to share its love for fairground arts with you all.
In this lively-museum, entertaining and show objects from the Belle Époque are not displayed under glass. They came to life thanks to 21st century technologies and visitors who are allowed to touch them and even ride some of them! Jean Paul Favand explains: “Today, the smiles I see on the children and adults’ faces alike justify the passion that has carried my team and I for 20 years”.
Resolutely festive days full of shows
All day long, attend musicians’ and acrobats’ performances as well as video projections. Wander around the animations and discover the place’s unique universes: the Venetian rooms (Salons Vénitiens), the Theater of Marvels (Théâtre du Merveilleux), the Museum of Fairground Arts (Musée des Arts Forains) and the Magic Mirror (Théâtre de Verdure).
A unique and playful way to live this heritage.
