- César, the retrospective at Paris Centre Pompidou: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Major sculptor of the Nouveau Réalisme, César’s work is to be rediscovered from December 13, 2017 to March 23, 2018 at Paris Centre Pompidou. 20 years after his death, the artist from Marseilles is still in the news with its sculptures criticizing the society and our overconsumption. We love it!
- The Ordrupgaard Collection at the Musée Jacquemart-Andrée: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
From September 15, 2017 to January 22, 2018, the Musée Jacquemart-André offers visitors to know more about the Ordrupgaard Collection featuring Danish Wilhelm and Henry Hansen. Never seen before in Europe, this collection brings together impressionist and post-impressionist paintings gathered in the early 20th century by the businessman and his wife.
- Icons that Matter: 10:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
The Musée Maillol welcomes a beautiful exhibition focused on Pop Art collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York. For the very first time in France, works by Jasper Johns, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and many others are exhibited following the story of post-war American art.
- Rubens, Portraits of Princes 10:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
From October 4, 2017 to January 14, 2018, the Musée du Luxembourg is hosting a very brilliant exhibition focused on Peter Paul Rubens. Indeed, he is part of the painters who had the honor of painting kings, queens, princes and princesses all through Europe. For the first time, 65 portraits of princes painted by Rubens are brought together in a museum for a never-seen-before exhibition!
- DC Comics: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Following its success, the exhibition DC Comics at the Musée Art Ludique is extended until January 7, 2018 with new pieces exhibited. From September 10, 2017, we will discover exclusive artworks from the movie Justice League out soon as well as original boards from the new Batman comics and his Batmobile next to costumes!
