The Parc Astérix has a new season full of emotion and special moments in store for you this eyar. Parc Astérix, home of the almighty Gauls, is ready for a new season starting April 1st until November 5th, 2017. Are you looking for a fun new outing with family or friends? Come enjoy yourself at this theme park that has 37 attractions and great shows.
This year, the park is continuing its innovative creation. after the seaside station Lutèce Plage in 2011, the thrilling Oziris in 2012, the family favorite in 2014 with the Idéfix forest and the Discobélix last year, the park enchants us with the new ride: the Pégase Express and some other news that should delight you all.
Parc Astérix news in 2017:
After Discobélix in 2016, the Parc Astérix opens a new family rides in June 2017, the Pégase Express. Children from one meter tall can enjoy this rollercoaster never seen before in Europe offering visitors a crazy travel across the antique world featuring wonderful bends, descents and impressive ascents.
Animals in the Village Gaulois:
Among the 2017 new, we have the animals in the Village Gaulois. Discover the animals from the comic book (Fauve de Bourgogne rabbits, Brahma chickens, Dwarf goats, etc.) and the story of all these special and old animals, big or little.
Le Vol d’Icare, an entirely renovated ride:
Le Vol d’Icare has freshened up and comes back this year with new rails and contraptions.
You come from far away and we know you want to have a nice stay so, remember that the Hôtel des Trois Hiboux, the hotel of the park is expanding. It now offers 50 brand-new additional rooms. A new restaurant will also open as well as a convention and seminar center featuring an event area of 166 square-meter and 3 meeting rooms you can adjust from 44 square-meter to 55 square-meter.

What is it all about? Imagine a giant discus with forty passengers harnessed along the rim. The platform runs along a 92-meter rail while it spins around, going back and fork at about 20-40 mph. Going up and down along the wavy track with a change in centrifugal force, don’t miss it this new season at the Parc Astérix.
Among the new shows of the park, discover Main Basse sur la Joconde:
This wonderful show a bit hidden in the Cirque area will mesmerize you by its rhythm and incredible effects that will surely please action enthusiast. Who will succeed to get the Joconde back?

2017 animations program:
This year does not feature 2 or 3 evening but 7 held all summer long. On July 8, 15, 22 and 29 as well as on August 5, 12 and 19, you will make the best of your day until 11 p.m.! Everything you need to live out the park at night time and enjoy a firework show called “Le Ciel vous tombe sur la Tête!” (the sky is falling). Remember that in sync with the event, the park’s restaurant, the Cirque, will offer a night-time menu so that you can enjoy your evening.
Peur Sur le Parc, Parc Astérix Halloween, is back from October 14 to November 5, 2017. It is undoubtedly one of the highlight of the year since the park is transformed to offer multiple animations for brave children and adults. Also note that the park will be open until late in the day on October 28, 29, 30 and 31, 2017.
Then, Christmas trees will take over the park for the winter season from November 18 to December 17.

Getting to the Park:
35km north of Paris on the A1 motorway towards Lille. Take the direct exit for Parc Astérix between exits 7 and 8.
The motorway between Paris and Parc Astérix is free. Parking fee of €10.
Leaving from the Louvre: Louvre (metro station Palais Royal) – exit via the “Carrousel” entrance (rue de Rivoli) or the Pyramide entrance. Take the escalator on the shopping level located in Hall Charles V to access the coach park on floor -3. Departure daily starting from 9 a.m. Departing at 6:30 p.m. from the Parc Astérix and at 7:30 p.m. on Sundays in June.

Head to the “Parcs de Loisirs” desk where stewards will direct you to the Parc Astérix shuttles. Shuttles leave every 30 minutes from 9 a.m. and until 1 hour after park closure.
