Parc Astérix, the park of the irreducible Gauls, which is constantly renewing itself, awaits you for a new season full of surprises. It's worth noting that 2024 is a year like no other, celebrating the park's 35th anniversary.
In 2023, Parc Astérix welcomed 2,815,000 visitors, making it the second-busiest theme park in France. With its 50 attractions and shows, divided into 6 themed universes, the park has been immersing us in René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo's famous comic strip since 1989.
This year, the park continues to innovate. After having thrilled us with Oziris in 2012, delighted families with its Idéfix forest in 2014, released new shows in 2015, unveiled Discobélix in 2016, tousled our hair with Pegasus Express in 2017 , and taken us to new heights withAerolaf in 2018, celebrated the arrival of the Hôtel Cité Suspendue and then the Quais de Lutèce, took off with the Tonnerre 2 Zeus and the dives in 2022, and hit the big time with the Toutatis universe last year, now the park is unveiling a new attraction and even its first musical.
The new attraction, which reaches a height of 40 metres, is located in the section dedicated to Egypt. Edifis is undoubtedly best placed to manage this project in his own unique way. To facilitate work at height, he imagined an innovative crane with several arms, capable of lifting and assembling stones while ensuring precise layout. Just imagine, you'll be suspended up to 40 meters high during all three phases of the adventure: the ascent, the rotation offering a 360-degree view, and finally, the descent. How about it?

The Egyptian zone is enriched by a new gourmet spot that will delight kebab lovers! ¨'Oz Kebab, as its name suggests, will offer kebab meat specialties. Expect to pay €14.90 for a menu including a turkey and veal sandwich, fries and your choice of beverage.
Discover the adventure of Groupidupianix and Sérotonine, where one dreams of becoming Gaul's most renowned bard and the other of breaking tradition by becoming the first druidess. Their quest is fraught with pitfalls, but together they are determined to make their magic shine. Joined by 9 talented singers and actors, they will bring to life new melodies by Vidal & Salvia, specially created for this unique show at Parc Astérix. After three years of preparation, Panoramix's 600-seat theater will vibrate to the sound of these compositions. Prepare to be dazzled by a 26-piece set and over 80 revolutionary costumes, the work of experts from all over Gaul. Don't miss this first Gallic musical, which kicks off this spring with a 25-minute performance.
The park's parades return this year with a new float to brighten up the parade. In addition to the drakkar on which the characters ride and the imperial float of the illustrious Caesar and that of the legendary Cleopatra, the Hispanic float has been added. On this lovely wagon are the famous cartoon characters: Pépé, Soupalognon y Crouton, accompanied by an animated bull.

Toutatis is the name of the crazy roller coaster that will open at Parc Astérix in 2023. It's over a kilometer long, hurtles along at 107 km/h and climbs to a height of 51 meters. But that's not all, as a whole area opens up to us, complete with playground, family ride and restaurant.
Tonnerre 2 Zeus at Parc Astérix
A second course, Tonnerre 2 Zeus, has been waiting for you at Parc Astérix since 2022 for even more thrills. Imagine a 90° inclined hump (the only one of its kind in Europe), two high-speed bends, two new humps, fourteen "airtimes" (moments when speed lifts passengers out of their seats), a tunnel with special effects and, for the bravest, the last carriages reversed, so you can experience the attraction in reverse... In short, thrill-seekers are in for another treat.
Olympus Plunge:
Goodbye dolphins, Parc Asterix's grand central amphitheatre is now home to an incredible spectacle of extraordinary diving. In honor of Zeus, 4 Roman and Greek athletes come to compete in a diving competition at the Theater of Poseidon in the heart of the City of Olympia. At the end of the team competition, 8 athletes perform a series of equally spectacular figures, with the winning delegation then competing in the individual competition. Only one of them wins the famous Trident of Poseidon!
Du Rififi dans la Basse cour
We're off to the famous Gaulish Village to take up residence in the 200-seat Théâtre de Barde for a lively, entertaining show ideal for all ages. The show features a Roman soldier trying to infiltrate Bucolix and his farm animals in the heart of the village. Between the search, the stunts and the twists and turns among the animals, we laugh out loud.
Odous Games
Worried about getting too hot at Parc Astérix? Don't worry, bring your swimsuit! There's plenty to keep you cool, with attractions like the Grand Splash and the Menhir Express, water jets, misters and water fountains!
