The art world can seem unreachable for kids! The Musée Cognacq-Jay has a mission to start the art development of our toddlers with a free and interactive exhibition for kids from 7 to 11 years old entitled “L’Enfance des Lumières” that you can discover until July 29, 2018.
For a long time now, the Musée Cognacq-Jay is interested in the perception of childhood and its evolution from the 18th century to nowadays. This new exhibition enables it to go even further in the theme by offering a visit that is not only about childhood but also suited to the youngest ones and families so that they can see what a child’s life looked like in the 17th century.
The exhibition evolves around 5 themes related to one another by a giant goose game carpet especially created for the occasion.
The visit takes us to the discovery of a child’s life in the 18th century through varied themes that are as follow:
As a complement to the exhibition available for free, the museum has other family activities on some days.
