The healers from the oldest zoo in Paris takes you and your children to meet the animals and discover their jobs. Feeding, care and animals’ daily life are provided with turtles, pandas and orangutans.
Healers from the Menagerie tell about their experience, their jobs with animals, they speak about the social behavior, the differences between natural and closed environment, feeding and care. The public discovers the daily life and history of orangutans and small pandas.

You should know that the Ménagerie du Jardin des Plantes is the world’s oldest zoo that is still in its original aspect. The park covers 5.5 acres and houses at least 270 mammals of 50 species, 330 birds of 80 species, 200 reptiles of 40 species, 200 amphibians of 10 species and 1,200 invertebrates of 10 species, the whole in the heart of Paris.
