Provins famous Easter egg hunt that makes disappear – as if by magic – some 8,000 chocolate eggs, is back on April 21 and 22, 2019. Thanks to a paperchase, children and their families leave on a lovely stroll throughout the medieval city on the look for these famous eggs. A good idea for a playful and fun family day.

Provins Medieval city and its Tourist Office invites families for free for a historic and playful Easter egg hunt. Go on an adventure and meet in Provins for a weekend of egg hunt, history and games on April 21 and 22, 2019.

As it happens every year, Provins Tourist Office organizes a fun paperchase to entertain children and adults. To take part in this festive day, head to the Tourist Office, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., to withdraw the map and the enigmas of the paperchase that will pace your lovely stroll through the medieval city. A perfect way to discover this famous city classified as a World Heritage site by UNESCO.

Children and parents will go and follow the steps of knights and princesses, giving the chocolate eggs. No rush, there will be enough eggs for everyone, since not less than 8,000 chocolate eggs will be eaten by knights and princesses, dressed-up or not, looking for the stories lying behind the 8-century years old buildings.

Please note this chocolate egg hunt is free of charge and open without mandatory booking to kids.
