For over a month, visitors and lovers of the big-eared mouse will be able to meet pumpkins, ghosts and other villains on Main Street, as well as challenge two attractions re-themed for the occasion, enjoy various shows, and many more surprises...
Encounters, themed decorations, thrilling attractions... It's the best time of year to have a good scare with family and friends. And a great opportunity to go to Disneyland Paris this year, as Walt Disney Studios opened its new area dedicated to Marvel superheroes, Avengers Campus, a year ago!
From October 1 to November 5, get ready to meet Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and their friends as you've never seen them before: as Halloween pranksters! They'll be bringing Disneyland Park to life with Mickey's Halloween Celebration, a wild cavalcade of colorful floats through the park. And to add a touch of intimacy, Disney Characters in Halloween costumes will be on hand for fun photo encounters.
If you're a fan of iconic antagonists like Maleficent, Captain Hook and Jafar, then you've come to the right place. Not only will you be able to meet them at Disneyland Park for chilling photo shoots, but when night falls, they'll also be storming Sleeping Beauty Castle. On the program:"Twilight with the Disney Villains", an exceptional night-time show with fountains, projections and music, performed just before the Disney Dreams show.
For fans of thrills and riddles, Phantom Manor becomes the star of the Halloween season. If you're feeling adventurous, you can extend the experience with "The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror" at Walt Disney Studios Park.
The various teams will also have their say in the park's stores and restaurants. You'll find a range of souvenirs and menus specially designed for the occasion, from mischievous goodies inspired by the Prankster Spirits to more chilling items featuring the Disney Villains.
For the occasion, the park is offering a variety of unique dishes inspired by Disney themes, such as burgers, salads, sundaes and drink specials, available in selected restaurants from September 29 to November 9, to satisfy all gourmands. These include the Chauve-Sour'hiii Burger, the tasty Salade des Âmes Perdues, the Sundae Madame Leota and the incredible Crumble du Sorcier. We're also sipping on theÉlixir Malicieux and the Nectar Diabolique, for those who'd like to pass on all these delicacies!
A season we were able to discover ahead of the All Saints' Day vacations. In terms of décor, Disneyland Paris has succeeded in renewing itself without upsetting the habits of this season's fans, offering ghosts and skeletons as colorful and cheerful as ever on Main Street and in Frontierland, with a couple of changes from previous seasons to create an atmosphere that's as cheerful and gently spooky as ever, just right for families.
As for the attractions, Phantom Manor and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror are as much fun as ever, with a Halloween twist. It's fun, it's scary in the Tower of Terror, and it's a great time to share with family and friends.
And as for the parade, it's in the old jars that the best jams are made, with floats that regulars know well, as colorful and festive as ever, accompanied by iconic characters that will delight fans. We'd have liked to see a float or two more to prolong the pleasure, but the parade, while short, allows us to enjoy as many attractions as possible afterwards, and that's all that counts!
In short, a great outing to enjoy with friends or the kids during the All Saints' Day vacations!
And plenty of other surprises too... In short, this year Disneyland Paris is offering us a very festive and ultra-colorful Halloween, all the while respecting health regulations linked to the coronavirus. Please note, however, that Disney's Halloween party has been cancelled by the park, as announced on its English page, preferring this year to extend opening times on October 31 for all visitors! The festivities are sure to delight young and old alike. Shall we put it in our diaries, folks?
