Created in 1815 by Napoleon I, the Fête à Neuneu is a funfair taking place in Paris 16th arrondissement in the area of the Bois de Boulogne. The name “Neuneu” is said to come from the city of Neuilly but over time the French word “neuneu” means ‘moron’.
The Fête à Neuneu guarantees you to make the best of the last sunny days. From September 1 to October 8, 2017, the Fête à Neuneu also called the Fête du Bois, gives the Bois de Boulogne a festive and cheerful atmosphere. For two centuries and the decree of Napoleon dating from June 10, 1815 allowing this event, the Bois de Boulogne welcomes many attractions and fairground stands for children and many thrilling rides for adults. The Fête à Neuneu makes everyone see eye to eye.
Every day, children and adults enjoy green spaces to clear their minds with cotton candy, games of chance and of course renewed attractions. If you want to thrill, well, the Fête à Neuneu features the latest generation of the MoonRaker that has been elected best ride in Europe and that is used to train cosmonauts with a 3G force, the Spin Ball, a huge centrifuge that makes us spin on 3 axes and at 8m above the ground!
For children, organizers planned dozens and dozens of merry-go-rounds and traditional animations such as mini-rollercoasters, flying chairs, Ferris wheel… as well as shows!
