Les Dimanches au Galop 2020

From April 5 to May 24, 2020,Les Dimanches au Galop will be back to thrill you. Once again this year, a host of events await you, with 4 main themes: adrenalin, passion, sport and emotion. An explosive cocktail for discovering the magic of the world of horse racing and spending a great day out with the family.

Every Sunday during this period, theParis-Longchamp racecourse or theAuteuil racecourse is the place to go for a full day of entertainment.

On the program for families:

• Wooden horse carousel
  Embark on a magical journey aboard the famous historic carousel. Choose your horse and off you go... Take as many turns as you like - all children are welcome free of charge!

• Pony racing
  Budding riders from the region's equestrian clubs take to the legendary Saint-Cloud and Auteuil racetracks! Come and cheer on these young champions and their little mounts every week. And who knows, maybe one day they'll become famous jockeys...

• Ponycycle
  On the road to adventure! A new-generation rocking horse takes your children on fantastic rides!
  A safe introduction to horse-riding.

• The Galop Kids Village
  Every Sunday, the Galop Kids Village features a host of activities orchestrated by the famous mascots Sam & Willy! Throughout the day, Sam the jockey and Willy the horse accompany our children as they play educational games to learn all about horses and horse racing!

Every Sunday, 8 gallop races await you. Sprint races at Longchamp and obstacle races at Auteuil. At each session, you can cheer on the children taking part in the"graine de jockey" pony championships. Riding Shetland ponies, budding young jockeys compete for a place in the final.

If the weather is fine, don't hesitate to come and picnic in the open air. You can also choose from a range of on-site catering options. From quick lunches to panoramic restaurants and gourmet delights, there's something to suit every taste and budget.
