Christmas lights 2020 on Boulevard Haussmann in Paris

For this Christmas 2020, the Comité du Boulevard Haussmann finds its Christmas lights back despite the lockdown implemented until December 1, 2020.

Every year, millions of tourists and Parisians usually visit Boulevard Haussmann, its department stores and the opera gouse, an ideal shopping spree location in Paris. Last year, the committee went for "traditional" lights where trees of the boulevard were covered in warm white and highlighted with a specific light to harmonize their size and gives an even volume, despite the winter season.

Extra lit arches were also set on both sides of rue Caumartin.

Department stores also play the game: their windows will be adorned from November 12 for Printemps and from November 14 for Galeries Lafayette. And now, we wait to know if we will be able to see them.
