Head to the Château de Vincennes for the Monument Jeu d'Enfant event on October 18 and 19, 2025. On the program for these two days are various workshops and games to help you discover this Val-de-Marne château in a fun way!

Monument jeu d'enfant is back for a weekend of free activities for children: at the Château de Vincennes, there's a whole program to immerse you in the history of the monument, and meet its illustrious occupants.

Discover the way of life of the castle's inhabitants in the Middle Ages. Through tours and a series ofworkshops, young and old alike can immerse themselves in this fascinating period. Built in 1150 in the forest of Vincennes to protect the capital, this castle is one of the most important inFrench history, and one of the largest and best-preserved fortified castles in Europe...

Known for its role as a royal residence in the 14th century, the château served as a prison and was converted into barracks by Napoleon I. The fortress is still home to the Service historique de la Défense. In addition, the Centre des Monuments Nationaux (National Monuments Center) offers visitors the chance to tour the King's apartments, the Sainte-Chapelle and even the upper sections of the Donjon, in a restored version!

    SENSORY CARTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP "VOYAGE À TRAVERS LES SENS"
    Starting with a tour, you'll be invited to immerse yourself in the feathers of a bird, and discover the Château de Vincennes from above. (Re)discover the site through your senses, before taking part in a workshop where you and your family will create a sensitive cartography of the Château using ink pads, felt-tip pens and other creative materials.

    During a fun-filled visit, immerse yourself in the fascinating world of the Middle Ages through three family challenges! On the program: paper carrier pigeon-making and archery!

    Workshop at 10 h 30 on reservation. Continuous, without reservation, in the afternoon

    LE BAL DES OISEAUX
    A family workshop where you can create your own paper stained-glass window. Using bird models, it's up to you to bring them to life and sublimate their plumage!

    THE ASCENSION OF THE IMPRENABLE DONJON!
    Ready to take up the challenge and climb the dungeon's almost 300 steps? Discover the history of birds and fly up to the terrace with its breathtaking view of Vincennes and the surrounding area.
