We're venturing to the Left Bank, in the heart of the Latin Quarter. That's where Solera awaits you, a secret address that has everything it takes to become your next HQ.

We discover unique recipes that amaze us with their taste as well as their visual appeal. Solera is to cocktails what Haute-Couture is to fashion. The menu is worthy of a Parisian palace... but at an affordable price! All signature creations are priced at around €13.

What we love here is that this is a spot for everyone, whatever your age. Everyone comes together for an experience that democratizes theart of the cocktail. No need to be a connoisseur, the menu has been designed so that everyone can find a recipe to their taste. The friendly team behind Le Solera is clearly driven by the desire to share their expertise with as many people as possible: their enthusiasm is contagious.

As you'll have guessed, it's the ideal spot for a spectacular aperitif. Whether it's a banana cocktail, an Aladdin lamp, a suspended egg or even a hot-air balloon, the bar teams up with ceramist-artisans to create veritable works of art. Once you've admired your cocktail, it's time to sip.

When you look at the menu, it's simple: you want to take it all. Our curiosity leads us first to try the Mongole Fier, a super-perched cocktail with elderberry, white wine and kiwi. Served in a hot-air balloon, this creation is both light and refreshing. Next up is theArtiste, one of the bar's greatest hits, served with a magic lamp. Made with Zubrowka Biala vodka, elderflower, kiwi, cucumber and lime, this very fruity cocktail has notes that remind us of oriental flavors.

We then move on to the Very Yummy, which feels like an aperitif in Wonderland. From a still-like decanter, we open a small tap to pour the precious nectar into a stemmed porcelain cup. Made with strawberry-infused white wine, jasmine green tea, elderflower, yellow lemon and lemon verbena, this cocktail is perfect for those who prefer floral flavors.

Then comes the Cuban Tobacco, our favorite. We slide the lid of a box to reveal this treasure: a sweet smell of cigar then escapes to reveal a creation inspired by Old Fashioned. Ideal for fans of smoky flavors, Cuban Tobacco also features extremely gourmand aromas: Saylor Jerry rum, vanilla, almond liqueur and angostura. Touché!

And don't miss the Banana Toys, a cocktail with a taste of vacation! With yellow snake rum, banana juice, coconut purée and angostura, it's almost as if we're sipping a pastry. Another equally gourmet but lighter creation: the Bistropolitain. Served in a transparent shell, this creation should delight lovers of fruity flavors. This time, the cocktail is made with Hendrick's Gin, elderflower, vine peach cream and yellow lemon.

While we had an undeniable crush on the Cuban Tobacco, we loved everything we tasted at the Solera. Each cocktail presents a truly different universe, which is why we're convinced that there's something for everyone. We love the passion that drives the geniuses behind the counters, we salute their willingness to democratize their art, and the icing on the cake: every Friday and Saturday DJ sets await you!
