Among this Fall’s lovely discoveries, there is La Daronne, a cozy restaurant set on the pedestrian street rue Marie Stuart in Paris 2nd arrondissement.
Running it, Jules and Margaux who offer us a trendy and in spot. We love the trompe l’oeil bar, the comfortable chairs, and the cozy vibe of this welcoming restaurant.
On the menu, original and indulging dishes reflecting the Parisian cuisine made with love and full of promises – and we reassure you, everything tastes great.
Like any restaurant worthy of its name, the menu changes with the seasons and the discoveries from producers who share the love for good and well-worked produces.
The day we came, we went for the crispy sushi. Served on a bone, these crispy sushi are smooth and slightly spicy but so good.
My partner goes for the eggplant burrata. Picture this: a wonderfully runny burrata topping smooth eggplant. Yum!
Lunch goes on with regressive Pulled Beef reminding us of the Vietnamese banh mi. Pullef beef, tasty sauce, crunchy and well-seasoned vegetables, such a delight.
We also order the gathering-inspired dumpling, a dish based on mushrooms and truffle. We love the super thin dumpling made with gyoza dough.
We wrap up the meal with craft ice creams and the super indulging cookie that puts on a show since the mistress of the house comes and pour chocolate over right in front of us.
In other words, if you are looking for a friendly and nice eatery where one eats wonderful and creative food based on fresh ingredients, this is the place to go.
