As part of Disney Village's multi-year transformation plan, Disneyland Paris has announced the opening of a brand-new gourmet address right next door to Disney's Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel, Rosalie. A "French-style" brasserie run by the Bertrand group, it opened in December 2023.

For lovers of French gastronomy... On the occasion of the destination's 30th anniversary and the Disney Village transformation plan announced in a press release on Monday March 21, 2022, Disneyland Paris also explained that it would be opening Rosalie in 2023, a 500-seat brasserie run by the Bertrand group, offering cuisine in the purest tradition of French bistros. Since December 8, 2023, gourmets have been able to discover this elegant brasserie.

This restaurant is, in a way, the cornerstone of this complete transformation of the village. It takes the place of the existing Café Mickey, located right next to Disney's Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel, at the entrance to Disney Village. On the menu, the establishment offers traditional cuisine celebrating the French art of living, featuring regional and seasonal products, all in a modern, elegant setting on two floors, with interiors inspired by traditional Parisian brasseries.

"As part ofour ongoing collaborations with exceptional companies with whom we share strong values, we are delighted to open a new restaurant managed by Groupe Bertrand to mark the first stage of Disney Village's transformation project," explained Laure Albouy, Vice President Commercial Strategy and Integration at Disneyland Paris, regarding the restaurant. She continued:"We are convinced that this restaurant, with its unique, family-friendly positioning, will enrich the experience of visitors to our destination, offering French specialties in a unique setting. We look forward to bringing this partnership to fruition!

So what is this French-style brasserie worth? To begin with, the setting invites us to enjoy a bright, elegant atmosphere, with beautiful marble tables and an imposing counter on which we find the écailler and his stall overflowing with seafood. Light-colored woodwork and numerous plants add a warm touch to this modern brasserie, whose large glass-roofed terrace offers a beautiful view of Lake Disney.

On the menu, Brasserie Rosalie shares many of the Parisians' pet peeves, including the famous mayo egg in a mimosa version, or pâté en croute, as well as classics such as onion soup au gratin with Emmental cheese, escargots de bourgogne, cordon bleu and ravioles du Royans.

We couldn't resist the "huîtres joyeuses" (happy oysters) offer, priced at 13€, which includes three special Saint-Vaast la Tahihou oysters (n°3), plump and iodized, accompanied by a glass of Entre-Deux-Mers Château Bonnet 2022 white wine. The comforting quiche lorraine also caught our eye: hearty, it's accompanied by a salad for a little freshness. Speaking of freshness, the Moules Marinières with Chablis and Isigny cream will have given us our sea legs, the quality of the products speaking for itself.

Prices are in line with those of a classic Parisian brasserie: starters are around €10, main courses are mostly in the €20-30 range, and a weekday lunch option is also available with starter + main course or main course + dessert at €19.5. In addition to table service, counter service is also available, with a wide range of French bakery products, including viennoiseries, pastries, sandwiches and salads to take away.
