Ready for a delicious trip to Argentina? Grab your boarding pass and fasten your seatbelt as we take you to the 2nd arrondissement of Paris to discover Asado. This new gourmet address, designed by Clasico Argentino, features not only the must-try empanadas, but also, and above all, the famous beef so dear to the inhabitants of this beautiful South American country! Would you like a tour?

It's an address that's sure to satisfy the taste buds of carnivores craving good, solid cuts of bidoche. Since the beginning of April 2022, a new street-food spot has set up shop in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. It's here, in the charming Passage des Panoramas, that Clasico Argentino has opened Asado, its new Argentine street-food restaurant. For the less experienced, Clasico Argentino has no fewer than 7 addresses in the capital, all of which honor the famous empanadas.

With Asado, Clasico Argentino takes its concept a step further, offering a street-food restaurant dedicated to... beef, which Argentinians love so much. Matteo Zanoni, the founder's son, has come up with a menu worthy of the " parillas " of Buenos Aires, featuring not only Argentine Black Angus meat, but also a beef Milanaise, or the unmissable el chori, a sausage with Argentine spices (pimenton and aji molido)... Three meat-based recipes available as sandwiches or by the plate. Of course, Asado doesn't forget the other specialty for which Clasico Argentino is famous, namely empanadas, the little stuffed turnovers offered here in a fried version, and therefore crispy to perfection!

The tasting begins with the excellent and ultra gourmet empanada verdura, stuffed with spinach shoots, béchamel sauce and mozzarella. We also love the empanada hongos with button mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, mozzarella and emmental cheese.

Next, we're seduced by the meat, offered al plato, with on one side the " Carne Argentina ", a plank on which are placed strips of Black Angus (150g) straight from Argentina. The dish is served with a delicious homemade chimichurri sauce, and is accompanied by a choice of two-cooked French fries or a salad. Opposite is a generous and delicious veal Milanese cutlet, here with beef and breaded with panko. Again, a choice of fries or salad.

The best thing about Asado? The possibility of tasting these meats in a sandwich version with olive oil bread made by France's best craftsman, Frédéric Lalos!

And to finish on a sweet note, there's the inevitable ice cream (dulce de leche, 70% cocoa chocolate, Madagascan vanilla, mango...), ideal at the end of the meal. But in the end, we fall for the homemade empanada sweetened with dulce de leche and we melt for the alfajor, a delicious cake with dulce de leche and coconut.
