The large Bercy skating rink is one of the two permanent places in Paris expecting ice-skating and ice hockey fans. Nestled in the Palais Omnisports de Bercy, aka the Accor Arena, the Sonja Henie skating rink features 1,500sqm of ice for children and adults.

Calling all ice-skating, ice hockey or fun experience fans, head to the Accor Arena, the Palais Omnisports de Bercy. There, a few meters underneath the stage and the packed bleachers during concerts, hides the patinoire Sonja Henie skating rink, as a tribute to the Norwegian actress and figure skater.

Built in 1984, this skating rink unveils a 1,500sqm skating surface, and can fit up to 400 people. 183ft long and 85ft wide, come and let off steam with your friends or family and children over the age of four! Whether you are a beginner or a regular, everyone is welcomed. On site, all the necessary gear is available for rental: ice skates, protections, helmets and even locks if need be.

All long as it is open, the Bercy skating rink expects you on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, yet the place is subject to private rent, so you better check before you come if it is open the day of your visit.

Regularly closed for eco-friendly reasons, the AccorHotels Arena skating rink usually expects us from Fall to Spring, to make us enjoy skating sessions along with sport or festive events. There are even late-night openings with DJ sets, usually taking place on Friday and Saturday nights.

Furthermore, if you want to attend a show, the skating rink often houses shows and demonstrations by the club des Français Volants including hockey and figure skating. Have a look at the online program to find out more.
