The divine, gargantuan Bauhinia brunch at the Shangri La Paris has been renewed to our great delight. With the arrival of Chef Quentin Testart, the brunch honors seafood with a shucking bench, dishes served at the table, show and an all-you-can-eat dessert buffet.

The Shangri-la Paris, the palace on Avenue d'Iéna just a stone's throw from the Eiffel Tower, whose gourmet brunch, orchestrated by young chef Quentin Testart, is sure to delight gourmets and discerning palates alike. Much more than an all-you-can-eat buffet, the restaurant in the 16th arrondissement palace has decided to offer an experience with new rituals that signal the return of true French luxury.

Table service, caviar tastings, a peeling bench and all-you-can-eat buffets await you every Sunday in an even more convivial atmosphere. As for the dining room, there's no need to introduce the Bauhinia and its magnificent Eiffel glass roof, bathed in light.

So, what exactly awaits us on the brunch program? We'll start with a few grams of happiness. We'll be tasting caviar as an appetizer, accompanied by a glass of champagne if we wish. We continue with theSignature Egg, also topped with a hint of caviar.

For our part, we let ourselves be tempted by the excellent Lobster Pain perdu, the Scallop Gravelax as melting as it is peppy in the mouth, the excellent Aubergine confit au soja and the soft Grilled Octopus.

Before, during and after the meal, you'll want to take advantage of the many buffets spread out along the corridor. From the viennoiserie stand to the shucking bench and the cheese buffet, where Tête de Moine and truffle-flavored Brie beckon, we don't know where to turn.

The hardest thing for you to decide next is whether to try the pastry show of French toast made to order, or stick to the dessert buffets of talented Pastry Chef Maxence Barbot. In fact, not one but two dessert buffets are on offer on either side of the staircase.
