So here you are, looking for a spot to admire this pyrotechnic show! If you don't have the budget to go to a terrace with an unobstructed view of the Eiffel Tower, you can enjoy the show free of charge by visiting places that offer a beautiful view of our Iron Lady. But where are they?
At the foot of the Eiffel Tower
The most obvious place to go is the Champs de Mars, the park that lies directly at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. It's the meeting place for early risers, and with good reason: it's hard to beat the location! You can also try the Place du Trocadéro, which also offers a great viewpoint.
Getting up high
Another well-known spot from which to admire the fireworks in Paris is the Sacré Coeur steps. From the heights of the Butte Montmartre, you can not only enjoy the spectacle, but also a panoramic view of the capital. The Parc de Belleville is also a prime location, offering a panoramic view of the Eiffel Tower. If you venture across the ring road to Mont Valérien, you'll be rewarded with a stunning view of the Iron Lady! An original view also awaits you from the Passerelle de l'Avre in Saint-Cloud.
From the Seine
And what would you say to watching this scene... from the Seine? If your wallet doesn't allow you to cruise the Seine for the occasion, there are a number of spots along the banks of the Seine: the Quai Branly, the Port Debilly and the bridges: the Pont de l'Iéna, the Pont de Bir-hakeim, the Pont d'Alexandre III, the Pont des Invalides, the Pont de Grenelle and the Passerelle Debilly provide an idyllic setting for watching the fireworks on July 14th in Paris.
Parisian streets
Last but not least, don't forget the streets overlooking the Eiffel Tower: rue Saint-Dominique in the 7th arrondissement comes to mind, as does avenue de Camoëns in the 16th arrondissement, with its charming staircase that plunges you into a scene worthy of a fine film. In the same district, the corner of rue de l'Amiral Hamelin and rue Galillée also offers a lovely view.
