National Day or Bastille Day is a festive moment, a great party to be enjoyed every summer in France. Usually, big cities put on a spread and host beautifil celebrations to make this day unforgettable. Balls, games, concerts, firework shows: everything is planned to please inhabitanst.

This year, the city of Versailles offers citizens to enjoy a festive and solidarity-driven firemen's ball. Meet on Wednesday July 13, 2022, from 8 p.m., for a musical night open to all!

Versailles inhabitants and tourists are expected on the square in front of the Fire station for night of dance. From 8 p.m. to midnight, a popular music program makes children and adults dance. Drink stands and food trucks are set behind the city hall to have a bite without leaving the party.

From midnight, and until 3 in the morning, this firemen's ball switches to DJ set style! DJ Nick Stevanson is at the turntable for a crazy party likely to make you dance until the early hours of the day.

Note the Versailles firemen's ball is charged: in presale, the ticket costs eight euros and moves to ten euros if you pay it on site. The money allows to finance most of the party and help bail out the budget of the Versailles firemen's association. But the ticket money especially allows firemen to make a donation to the Oeuvre des Pupilles Orphelins de Sapeurs-Pompiers (the Charity for Firemen's Orphans - ODP).

This firemen's ball is a great way to have fun whilst doing something good!

The city of Versailles does not let off a firework show this year. But if you still want to attend this gorgeous and colorful show, head to the Palace of Versailles offering a fabulous show to close the Night Fountains Show.
