This royal prison, symbol of the absolutism of the Ancien Régime, was stormed by the people of Paris. It was the start of an unprecedented political and social upheaval in France, and the date was chosen as a symbol of the struggle against oppression.

In the Parc du Dispensaire, from 2pm!

The program includes entertainment for children, concerts and dancing from 6pm, followed by the distribution of flags for the torchlight process ion before the highlight of the evening at 10:45pm: fireworks fired from the Seine and visible from the Quai du Pecq!
