Fête Nationale in Fontenay-aux-Roses (92): laser show and popular ball on July 13, 2025

July 14th is the national holiday in France. For the occasion, the country comes alive with traditional celebrations including fireworks displays, military parades, republican picnics, popular balls and other festive events. Not far from the capital, the communes of the Ile-de-France region get in on the act, often offering a program the day before, to make the celebrations doubly special!

Residents of the 92 area and the town of Fontenay-aux-Roses, mark your calendars! For the Fête nationale 2025, the town council has decided to replace the traditional fireworks display with a laser show, to the delight of children of all ages, on July 13, 2025!

But what else can you do during the day, before taking part in the local festivities? Nice walks, certainly, with nearby Parc Sainte-Barbe or Square du Panorama. You can also visit the Saint-Pierre-Saint-Paul church and its listed stained-glass windows, or go a little further afield to the Parc de Sceaux and the Roseraie de L'Haÿ-les-Roses. In any case, there's plenty to keep you busy while you wait patiently for the evening!

Sunday, July 13 from 7pm to 11:15pm - Place du Général de Gaulle

• 7pm - Catering area opens

An open-air catering area with food trucks, a burger stand, and extensions to the Place du Général de Gaulle. All in a musical atmosphere provided by DJ Mark from Moov.

• 8pm - Ball populaire

Get ready to dance! The group First will have you rocking to the rhythm of the greatest classics of French and international variety.

• 11 p.m. - Exceptional laser show

Look up, the sky lights up for a laser show like never before! A symphony of light, special effects and multicolored beams will be projected onto the town hall forecourt, accompanied by an epic soundtrack.

• 11:15pm - The party continues

Continue the celebrations with DJ Mark from Moov, who will keep the party going until midnight!
