Grand Christmas 2025 at the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte: a magical immersion in the enchantment of the festive season.

It's an unmissable outing during the holiday season: with family or friends, immerse yourself in the magic of Christmas with the decorations at the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte. The monument is decked out in its finest attire for the end of the year, for the 20th edition of the Grand Noël du Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte. From November 15, 2025, to January 6, 2026, admire the richly decorated Christmas trees, chocolate sculptures, magical displays, and garden illuminations during a memorable stroll.

Every year, this château in Seine-et-Marne is transformed into a magical place during the Christmas season . Young and old alike are invited to discover this sumptuous residence, which takes on the appearance of an enchanted castle thanks to the decorations installed in the various rooms of the monument. 

For this 20th edition, the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte immerses us inthe world of dreams: in each room, a new dream comes to life thanks to the decorations and original animations. These childhood dreams seem straight out of fairy tales: animals and stuffed toys populate each setting, while the Christmas trees are covered with garlands, ribbons, baubles, and colorful characters.

The tour begins at the museum of the servants, where visitors are given capes: an essential fashion accessory for getting into character as a child! We then walk up the avenue of illuminated fir trees to the château. There, we go from room to room, from dream to dream. A world of ice, a candy apple dream, an underwater universe, or a fairy banquet: these enchanting worlds will amaze young and old alike!

In each room, a roaring fire adds to the festive winter atmosphere, while special scents immerse us even further in the sweet world of Christmas.

But the visit doesn't end there: head to the garden to enjoy the seasonal lights and entertainment. Once again this year, a temporary ice rink has been set up, allowing you to admire the château while performing your best pirouettes on the ice. Beginners can use stabilizers to protect their physical integrity and dignity. Access to the ice rink is an additional cost to the tour: €5 per person. Please note that skating sessions will be limited to 30 minutes in case of high attendance.

Among the groves, visitors can also enjoy carriage rides, marshmallows roasted over a fire, a dream tree, and even a treasure hunt. 

At nightfall, the castle's façade is also illuminated with the sound and light show "Vaux-le-Vicomte, le rêve éveillé" (Vaux-le-Vicomte, the waking dream). This unique projection offers an entertaining and enchanting 8-minute family show to end the day. 

For this 20th edition, the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte is also offering a new experience: in the carriage museum, discover a postcard workshop. This charitable event encourages you to write a card, which will be distributed to people who are isolated during the holiday season. In partnership with La Poste, the ADPHILE Foundation, and the Red Cross, this writing workshop aims to share the joy and warmth of the Christmas season.

Finally, on the first floor of the château, an immersive show inspired by Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol is offered as an extra treat for visitors.
