The Grande Arche rooftop sets up again a temporary ice skating rink for Christmas and for the Holidays 2019, from December 20, 2019 to January 5, 2020.
For the second year in a row, we can skate enjoying a breathtaking view over the French capital and its surroundings. If it's chilly, we truly feel free even at 110 meters above the ground.
Don't forget your gloves as they are mandatory. This ice skating rink is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. with late-night openings to enjoy Paris by Night!
After effort comes comfort, we go and have a seat at the place’s café or restaurant La City just below.
And if you don't feel too sore, enjoy the graffiti and street art exhibition promoting French artist Cyril Kongo a floor below (since you're paying, enjoy the Grande Arche entertainments!)
By the way, here's a tip, if you eat at La City, your admission fee is deducted from your bill.
And since you're at it, you have no excuse not to enjoy La Défense Christmas market, the biggest market in ile de France. Over 350 exhibitors are expected on a 13,000sqm area at the foot of an 18-m high tree!
