Pastry chef Nina Métayer never stops delighting us. From her online pastry shop, named Délicatisserie, to her boutique-tea room at Printemps du Goût and now at Les Halles Biltoki, Nina Métayer is offering us her creations for Easter 2023!
Among the original and gourmet Easter cakes, here is a creation that will delight young and old.
Nina Métayer 's Easter Nest is inspired by childhood memories and traditions that celebrate this holiday. From March 15 to April 17, we invite you to discover this gourmet and comforting collection. Nina Métayer has designed a light entremets that you will love.
The nest, this Easter 2023 entremets, is inspired by Nina's childhood in Alsace. Its shape evokes both the nest and the lines of the Kouglof mold. The airy and soft texture of the cookie is reminiscent of the traditional "Lammele", the Alsatian Easter Lamb. This vanilla dessert with lightly lemony notes and crunchy almond crumble hides chocolate treats in its heart.
The composition of the nest is gourmet: Savoy cookie, lemon confit, light vanilla bavaroise, almond crumble and nest treats to share, including chocolate fritters, white and milk chocolate eggs 40%. A small praline egg is offered as an individual nest treat, decorated with fine white chocolate scrolls.
We like the lightness of the whole cake with the small acidity of the lemon which does not prevail. Softness, fondant and crunchiness with the almond crumble base, we love it.
The limited edition Easter Creations are available for pre-order at www.delicatisserie.com. Prices are as follows: 7,50€ for the individual entremets and 49€ for the entremets to share (6/8 persons).
Nina Métayer's creations can be picked up free of charge at collection points in Paris (Printemps du goût) and Issy-les-Moulineaux (Laboratoire Délicatisserie and Halles Biltoki). A delivery by courier is also available in Paris and in some towns in the suburbs.
