Often accompanied by entertainment, organized in all major cities, and even in some historic monuments, castles and unusual places in Paris and the Île-de-France region, egg hunts are definitely popular with families, and especially with children, every Easter weekend. So, during this three-day weekend from April 19 to 21, 2025, head for theEssonne department for a family egg hunt!
In Orsay, head to Bois Persan for a hunt not for little chocolate eggs, but for thegolden egg! Embark on a treasure hunt designed for the whole family, combining orientation, clue-finding and puzzle-solving. The route promises to be a little challenging, with around 3 kilometers of forest walking (bring suitable clothing and footwear!). The good news is that the hunt is scheduled for several days: Sunday April 13 and Saturday April 26. Please note: reservations are required to take part!
This unusual egg hunt is more like a treasure hunt, and costs €18 per person. Children under 6 don't pay. Happy golden egg hunting!
