The Medieval City of Provins and its Tourist Office invite all families to a free historical Easteregg hunt, but above all, fun. Go on an adventure in Provins for a weekend of egg hunts, stories, games and puzzles, on April 9 and 10, 2023, from 2 to 4 pm each day.
As every year, the Provins Tourist Office organizes a clever treasure hunt to entertain young and old. To take part in this festive day, meet in front of the Tourist Office, located at 4 rue Villecran in Provins, in order to get the map and the riddles of the treasure hunt which will punctuate your stroll in the medieval city classified as UNESCO Heritage.
Children (12 years old or less) accompanied by their parents will follow the footsteps of knights and princesses (people dressed as in medieval times), to receive small chocolate eggs. Moreover, no rush, there will be something for everyone since no less than 10,000 chocolate eggs will delight the little knights and princesses, dressed up or not, in search of the stories hidden behind these buildings dating back more than eight centuries!
The good thing is that this egg hunt is completely free and does not require a reservation! The children can then participate in a workshop (for a fee, count 13 € per child) to create chocolates at the Biscuiterie Médiévale de Provins (on reservation), while the older ones can take the opportunity to visit the Foire aux plantes et arts du jardin, which takes place from April 8 to 10, 2023 at the Ferme du Châtel and showcases producers and craftsmen of the Brie region. So, shall we go?
