This year, Tartelettes is offering 4 versions of galettes des rois for Epiphanie. On the program: the classic frangipane, the gourmet pistachio, the Muscovado Noisette and the Banana Bread , available only at weekends. Those who know the company are bound to be familiar with the famous pistachio tart. In short, when it comes to pralines, whether hazelnut, pistachio or banana, it's a sure bet.
This year, chef Arnaud and his friend Elliott had the idea of creating a banana bread galette. This limited-edition galette is available exclusively at weekends, so we urge you to reserve it. It's made with homemade puff pastry, banana bread, salted butter caramel and pecans. This banana bread galette is available in a single format for 6 people at 38€ and must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance from this January 07, 2023.
The Galette Muscovodao et Noisette (35€) features a puff pastry inverted with PDO butter, muscovado frangipane and Piedmont hazelnut praline.
The pistachio version is made with PDO butter puff pastry, Iranian pistachio frangipane, crushed pistachios and homemade Iranian pistachio praline. Beware, it's as foodporn as you could wish for. Expect to pay 38€ for a galette for 6 people.
The classic frangipane galette is the most affordable of the lot, costing 33€ for 6 people. For bean lovers, note that hidden at its heart is a delicate bean handmade by ceramist Corentin Brison in the shape of a hazelnut, pistachio or almond, depending on the recipe chosen.
