European Heritage Days 2022 in Paris: exclusive tours and entertainments at the Collège des Bernardins

For the Journées du Patrimoine 2023, the Collège des Bernardins is offering a wide range of events and guided tours. Join us on September 16 and 17, 2023 to discover this former Cistercian college of the University of Paris.

During the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days), we take the opportunity to discover the jewels of the capital. From the most famous monuments to the most mysterious places, it's a chance to see Paris from a new angle and learn all about the City of Light. For this year's event, from September 16 to 17, 2023, we're off to the Latin Quarter to discover the secrets of the Collège des Bernardins.

A meeting place for culture, research and education, the Collège des Bern ardins is an essential part of Parisian cultural life, and a magnificent Cistercian edifice that's well worth a visit in itself! Listed as a historical monument, it was once a college, a prison and even a barracks, before returning to its original function and becoming the cultural center it is today. Dating back to the 13th century, the building even housed a church, which was converted into a stone quarry before being demolished.
