Car-free Paris: The Champs-Elysées reserved for pedestrians on Sunday, April 2, 2023

The Champs-Élysées are reserved for pedestrians one Sunday a month, usually the first. It's an opportunity for Parisians of a day and of all times to stroll freely on the most beautiful avenue in the world in the absence of cars. Do you want to take advantage of this unmissable stroll in the Parisian agenda? Then take note of the next dates! The appointment is given to you on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 10 am to 6 pm.

As a reminder, with "Paris Respire", the Paris City Council hopes to reduce fine particle emissions. And since October 2018, the car-free perimeter has been extended to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th arrondissements of Paris, allowing pedestrians to fully enjoy the center of the capital.

The anti-pollution plan has therefore not finished expanding, resulting in traffic restrictions for older cars and trucks, since July 2017.
