We've been enjoying this bright and mild start toApril, so we're wondering if the pleasure will last. The bad news is thatthe fine weather in Paris is coming to an end. For several days, the capital had been enjoying dry, largely sunny weather, with pleasant temperatures. On Friday, sunshine still prevailed, with highs of 19°C. By Saturday, however, the situation had taken a turn for the worse: cloudy skies set in from daybreak, and clouds thickened in the afternoon, although the mercury climbed to 23°C.
OnSaturday, April 12, 2025, the return of clouds marks a break with the radiant weather of previous days. Although the mild weather persists, with 10°C in the morning and 23°C in the afternoon, the sky will gradually become overcast, making the atmosphere less spring-like.
OnSunday April 13, the day of the Paris Marathon, conditions will be even less favorable: very cloudy skies in the morning, followed by light rain from midday. Runners will have to contend with damp weather, with temperatures between 13°C and 20°C, and precipitation expected to last throughout the afternoon.
This changeover is explained by the end of the anticyclonic blockade that had until then guaranteed stable, bright weather. As it weakens, Atlantic disturbances can once again move towards the Paris region, bringing humidity and cloud cover.
You'll have to rethink your outdoor plans: sunny terraces will give way to more overcast, even wet, moments. It's advisable to bring an umbrella, especially for Sunday, and to consult the Météo France forecasts regularly to adapt your outings.
This weekend thus marks a typically spring-like meteorological transition, between persistent mildness and the first disturbances.
