Transport in Île-de-France: works and disruptions this weekend of January 18 and 19, 2025

New works are scheduled for the weekend of January 18 and 19, 2025 on the Paris and Ile-de-France networks of the RATP and SNCF. We take a look at the disruptions expected on the metro, RER and Transilien networks this weekend.

A new weekend of work on the RATP and SNCF networks in the Île-de-France region is scheduled for Saturday January 18 to Sunday January 19, 2025, in order to make progress on the Grand Paris construction projects, future metro line extensions or simply to keep the network in good condition. Will there be a lot of work this time, or will it be a quiet weekend? Beware of traffic disruptions and train cancellations, which sometimes need to be anticipated well in advance to avoid unpleasant surprises!

This weekend, three RER, four Transilien and two metro lines are affected. To find alternative routes if you need to travel, the Transilien SNCF website offers alternatives, with buses regularly scheduled to serve stations.

Here is the schedule for the weekend of January 18 and 19, 2025

RER C

Reduced train frequency between Invalides and Viroflay Rive Gauche. No RER C trains between Viroflay Rive Gauche and Saint-Quentin en Yvelines.

RER D

Traffic is interrupted between Combs-la-Ville and Melun, and between Corbeil-Essonnes and Melun.

RER E

Every other train runs between Nanterre-La-Folie and Chelles - Gournay.

Line J

Traffic is interrupted between Issou Porcheville and Mantes-la-Jolie, and between Les Mureaux and Mantes-la-Jolie.Traffic is also interrupted between Paris Saint-Lazare and Val de Reuil.

Line K

Traffic is interrupted between Paris Gare du Nord and Mitry - Claye.

Line N

Traffic is interrupted between Épône - Mézières and Mantes-la-Jolie.

R line

Trains are rerouted via Corbeil-Essonnes, extending journey times by up to 20 minutes.

Line 9

On January 19, traffic will be interrupted on the entire line due to roadworks.

Line 14

Until January 18 at 1pm, the stop is not served at Villejuif - Gustave Roussy due to works.
