Over 40 years of festivities, and the Fête de la Musique continues to thrill us every year! On June 21, the whole of France celebrates music of all kinds, and new and established artists alike, performing in the streets, parks, restaurants, churches and concert halls.
Launched in France in the early 1980s by Culture Minister Jack Lang, the Fête de la Musique aims to celebrate music and artists of all styles and genres, with no cultural hierarchy. It's an initiative much appreciated by the French, who have been coming out in force for all these years.
Sometimes, the festivities extend into the late spring/early summer period... In Montreuil, for example, a very special musical event is being organized not on June 21, but on Sunday evening, June 18. On Sunday, all Montreuillois and local cinephiles are invited to Rue Navoiseau for a memorable open-air cine-concert.
Aucun événement annoncé à ce jour, le programme est mis à jour en fonction des annonces officielles.
With a program like this, the Sunday night blues are sure to disappear! And it means you can enjoy even more entertainment, on June 21, all over Seine-Saint-Denis.
