It's one of the most eagerly awaited cultural events in Paris every year: Nuit Blanche is back on the night of June 3 to 4, 2023, for a 21st edition as surprising as ever. Nuit Blanche is first and foremost about making art accessible to all, by taking visitors behind the scenes of artists' residencies, cultural venues, museums and other culture-related institutions. Since its inception, no fewer than 4,000 French and international artists have taken part, exhibiting their work during these nights dedicated to creation and art.
Paris is home to several museums and art venues dedicated to contemporary creation. Among these is 59 Rivoli, the capital's most famous artists' squat. Located in the heart of the capital, this building stands out first and foremost for its astonishing façade. Inside, there are even more surprises.
59 Rivoli is a multi-storey building dedicated tocontemporary art. It welcomes some thirty artists to its studios just a stone's throw from Châtelet. The space is open to the curious, who come in droves to visit and chat with the artists in residence.
As you'd expect, 59 Rivoli is taking part in this major celebration of contemporary art, welcoming visitors free of charge until 1am. Find out more below.
