Initially scheduled on April 18 then October 17, 2020 and October 30, 2021, "Saint Seiya Symphonic Adventure", or the symphonic show of "Knights of the Zodiac" finally takes place on Saturday May 14, 2022, at Paris Grand Rex for two shows: at 1:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
While Bernard Minet has just unveiled his metal version of the “Knights of the Zodiac” opening credits, the anime based on a manga knows its very first symphonic show adaptation. And it is in Paris the world's premiere of the show takes place.
The concept? An immersive show in the universe of “Saint Seiya” with a symphonic orchestra playing the soundtrack of “The Knights of the Zodiac” written by Seiji Yokoyama whilst pictures of the anime television series will be played on a giant screen. It will be accompanied by lights, sound effect and cult dialogs. A symphonic concert-movie that required over a year and a half of work.
And it is Paris that welcomes the world’s premiere of this new compelling show. A concert also welcoming Pegasus Fantasy band singer NoB, the series’ soprano singer Kazuko Kawashima and Seiya’s official French voice, Eric Legrand.
Running the show? The creative team already behind “Dragon Ball Symphonic Adventure”.
If you are a fan or nostalgic of “The Knights of Zodiac”, you do not want to miss “Saint Seiya Symphonic Adventure” on May 14, at Le Grand Rex.
