Do you know K-pop? K-pop is a musical trend from South Korea, and it is seducing more and more people who love the style, but also the whole universe that surrounds these boy and girl bands.
Today, four generations form K-pop. Everything starts in the 1990s with the first generation, notably marked by the groups H.O.T., Shinhwa and SES. Then comes the second generation, composed for example of Super Junior, BigBang, or SHINee. The third generation of K-pop, certainly the most famous, saw the birth of groups such as BTS, Got7, IKON, Twice or even NCT and Blackpink. Finally, in the fourth generation, characterized by the use of social networks, we find notably Stray Kids, Ateez, The Boyz, Itzy, Everglow, AB6IX or Enhypen.
So many bands that are no longer content with South Korea to play live. Today, many of these K-pop groups are touring around the world, passing of course by our beautiful capital. And each time, it's the same euphoria, with concert tickets sold out like hotcakes, and shows obviously sold out months in advance. Lately, Parisians have been able to discover live Dreamcatcher, MCND or The Boyz. Good news because, these next months, K-pop groups will be even more numerous to tread the stages of the capital.
K-pop festivals are also coming to Paris to the delight of fans, like the Mik festival or the Music Bank which will make its comeback after several years of absence.
