A Rainy Day in New York, Woody Allen 's comedy which, as its name suggests, takes place across the Atlantic, is broadcast on Arte this Wednesday, February 21, 2024. The cast of this feature film includes the "couple" formed by Timothée Chalamet(Wonka, Dune) and Elle Fanning(Galveston, Teen Spirit). They're supposed to be spending a romantic weekend together in New York. But of course, nothing goes according to plan.

While Ashleigh (Elle Faning's character) goes about her business alongside Jude Law, Diego Luna and Liev Schreiber, her partner Gatsby introduces her to the charmingly funny Selena Gomez.

Two students, Gatsby and Ashleigh, plan to spend a romantic weekend in New York. But their plans come to nothing, as quickly as rain follows fine weather... Soon separated, each of the two lovebirds encounters a series of chance encounters and unusual situations.
