Review
Guy Ritchie is back at the top of his game with UnHomme enColère ( AnAngryMan), an edgy, dynamic film that's as rhythmic in its shots as it is in its storytelling. It's a film without length, with an interesting construction that's neither linear nor convoluted, making it captivating from startto finish. We also appreciate the performance of Jason Statham who, although his character is rather smooth, shines with his presence in front of the camera.
On the other hand, we regret that the script is too tightly woven, predictable down to the last detail, and even too close to the book, but this doesn't prevent us from enjoying this action-packed, well-choreographed and bloody film. A good action film that does the job, as they say, but which could have been a little more consistent, both in its script and in the depth of its characters. A must-see for all fans of the genre!
