Opening in cinemas on October 16, 2024, Sauvages is an animated film directed by Claude Barras, who has already produced some sensitive and committed works. Co-written with Catherine Paillé, the film features the voices of Babette De Coster, Martin Verset and Laetitia Dosch. Synopsis: In Borneo, on the edge of the rainforest, Kéria takes in a baby orangutan found on the oil palm plantation where her father works. At the same time, Selaï, her young cousin, comes to stay with them to escape the conflict between his nomadic family and the logging companies. Together, Kéria, Selaï and the baby monkey named Oshi will brave all obstacles to fight against the destruction of the ancestral forest, which is more threatened than ever.
