Le Goût du Japon: new store dedicated to Japanese gastronomy in Paris

As you may know, this year, France celebrates the 160^th anniversary of the French-Japanese relationships. The results: Japonismes 2018 took over France with many shows and exhibitions. Even the Eiffel Tower will be dressed in Japanese colors on September 13 and 14 for a unique visual show.

For foodies, a new store promoting Japanese gastronomy will see the light of the day in Paris. Initiated by a collaborative project between Japan Airlines, Yamato Group and Issé, Le Goût du Japon will officially open on September 25, 2018 in Paris 2^nd arrondissement.

Inside this 40-sqm store? Japanese regional produces of very different ranges: vegetables, fruits, fishes, meats and drinks… Customers can also discover culinary specialties from the different Japanese prefectures that will regularly evolve.

The bonus? You can enjoy different produces sold around the counter as well as eat cooked dishes (on the spot or to take away). Le Goût du Japon also features a mini market and a fish tank to discover ikejime.

The other aspect of Le Goût du Japon? Its distribution hub for professionals and private people from all over France can buy Japanese, fresh or room temperature regional produces.

Please note, if you are really impatient, there’s a pre-opening day held on September 8 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
