Paris-Nice 2025: a free entertainment village in Le Perray-en-Yvelines at the start of the race

Paris-Nice 2025 will be passing through the Yvelines region, and in particular through the town of Le Perray-en-Yvelines at the beginning of March! This famous cycling race starts in front of the fairground, and is an opportunity to celebrate a great cycling festival with a village of free activities for young and old! For two days, March 8 and 9, 2025, enjoy cycling and urban sports activities on rue de l'Abreuvoir.

As well as being able to watch the start of the race live at 11.40am, a giant screen will be available to follow the race throughout the afternoon! On the program: Draisienne Park, Bike Park mobile Trial, Freestyle Airbag, inflatables for the kids, a Tour de France ecological merry-go-round, and live bands. And if you fancy a bite to eat, there'll be a number of food trucks on hand for the occasion.

The Département is also organizing rides for beginners and the initiated, on Saturday March 8, also in Le Perray-en-Yvelines, between Rue de Paris and Rue de l'Abreuvoir. Called Tous cyclistes en Yvelines, several routes are on offer:

• Road courses with a group start at 12:30 pm: 50 kms; 60 kms; 85 kms and 105 kms to choose from;
• The MTB- GRAVEL course with a group start at 12:30 p.m. for 53 kms;
• The 100% women's course supervised by the VCESQY Team VOUSSERT with a start at 12:45 p.m.: 50 kms.

From March 9 to 16, 2025, the Race to the Sun will officially launch the season of major European cycling competitions.
