Schedule changes

The second men's semi-final, scheduled for Friday June 6 on the Court Philippe-Chatrier, will not start before 7pm (compared with 5.30pm last year). The schedule for the first semi-final remains unchanged, starting at 2.30pm. The women's doubles final, scheduled for Sunday June 8 as a prelude to the men's singles final, has been brought forward by half an hour compared with last year. It will start at 11 a.m. Also new this year, the women's doubles event will start on Tuesday May 27, the same day as the men's event.

The Chatrier Experience

On the forecourt of the Simonne-Mathieu court, from May 24 to June 8, the public will be invited to experience the "Chatrier Experience", a brand-new event that plunges participants into the world of the players through an "immersive box". Thanks to the screens installed on all the walls of this room, spectators will be immersed in the path taken by the male and female players before they enter the court, right from the changing rooms. The same system will also enable the public to follow the matches on center court, with a unique 180° view from the edge of the court. On the same forecourt, a refereeing animation will be offered again this year, allowing the public to put themselves in the shoes of a chair umpire.

An inclusive tennis weekend

The FFT is offering the "Tous en fauteuil" (All in a wheelchair) operation, an event designed to discover and promote wheelchair tennis to the general public. Spectators are invited to come and hit the ball in a sports chair on Friday June 6 from 10.00am to 7.00pm on court n°9. In addition, on the occasion of this "Weekend of Inclusive Tennis", other initiations will be held on the same court on June 7 and 8 to promote different inclusive tennis practices: deaf and hard-of-hearing tennis, céci-tennis and adapted sport tennis. Associations and establishments catering for the disabled will also be invited to try out tennis at Roland-Garros.

Urban tennis

Spectators will have the chance to try their hand at Urban Tennis, a sport that can be played anywhere and by anyone. Three Urban Tennis courts, located on the north side of the Philippe-Chatrier court (from May 19 to 24 and June 1 to 8), on the south side of the Suzanne-Lenglen court (from May 19 to June 8) and on the north side of the Simonne-Mathieu court (from May 25 to June 8), will be available to the public.

Beach tennis

Beach tennis is coming to Roland-Garros from June 5 to 8, on court 8. A beach tennis court will be available for the public to (re)discover this spectacular discipline. During the day, certain slots will even give the public the privilege of exchanging balls with the French junior beach tennis team. Around the court, there will be a convivial area where the public can relax and unwind.

Pickleball

The public can discover and learn about Pickleball. This racquet sport, which originated in the United States and is becoming increasingly popular in Europe and France, is particularly fun and accessible. From Sunday May 25 to Saturday May 31, a court will be set up on the north side of the Philippe-Chatrier court, while on the last four days of the tournament, from Thursday June 5 to Sunday June 8, a court will be set up on court n°5 alongside a padel court, as part of a multi-practice event. Presenters and a speaker will be on hand to lead the activity.
