Suresnes Grape Harvest Festival is back on Saturday October 5 and Sunday 6, 2019. All weekend, 22 circus, dance, music and theater companies will take over the Cité-Jardins for a major popular festival highlighting the following theme “Feathered and Hairy”!

Suresnes will go festive mode on October 5 and 6, 2019 for the Festival des Vendanges – or Grape Harvest Festival. From street play to music without forgetting dance and circus, 22 companies are expected in the Cité-Jardins! Considered as one of the biggest art events in Ile-de-France, it would be a shame to miss it!

Since 1983, Suresnes closes the grape harvest season with a popular and friendly festival attracting over 30,000 festivalgoers to the Cité-Jardins, a neighborhood created by city planner Henri Sellier, perfect to house the many shows and artists enlivening every year the Festival des Vendanges.

If the wine tradition in Suresnes goes all the way back to the 9th century, it’s because the Mont-Valérien area and its surface – the largest in Ile de France – allow every year to make a dry and fruity white wine. Made following the principles of integrated viticulture, it’s the only one in the region to have an authorization to be sold and makes the city very proud.

So, every year, Suresnes celebrates the end of the grape harvest with many artists.
