The Sound of U2 in March 2023 at Paris Salle Pleyel

In 2023, the salle Pleyel will be home to several tribute shows.
Therefore, on Friday March 3, 2023, “The Sound of U2” – tribute concert to U2 – will be performed in the venue in Paris 8^th arrondissement.

“The Sound of U2” is a concert designed by Beyond The Music, an Irish (like U2, indeed) and cover band specialized in rock covers adding orchestral arrangements.

Therefore, for the show performed this next March, Beyond the Music has decided to shine a light on one special U2 album, “The Joshua Tree”. U2’s fifth studio album, released in 1987, including songs such as “With or Without You”, “Where the Streets Have no Name”, or “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” is one of the greatest albums in the band’s career. Furthermore, in 2017, U2 performed a tour honoring this album, “The Joshua Tree Tour” that stopped by the Stade de France.

Furthermore, all orchestrations have been arranged and recorded with the Prague FILMharmonic Orchestra, a multi-awarded orchestra for a disc called “Beyond the Music – Perform The Joshua Tree”. “The Sound of U2” includes on stage singer Nigel Connell, his band, as well as a 12-musician string orchestra and 10 choristers.
