After four years of annual concerts in Saint-Laurent-de-Cuves village hall, the Papillons de Nuit festival has moved outdoors. Originally, this small festival was organized by the ROC en Baie association, made up of 27 permanent members. Today, it mobilizes 1,400 volunteers every year. So much for the festival's growth!
Yes, in just over twenty years of existence, the festival has played host to some very big names! In 2023 alone, Soprano Orelsan, Gazo, Niska, Bigflo & Oli, Marc Lavoine and Claudio Capéo were all on hand to get festival-goers up and dancing. In short, from up-and-coming rock stars to electro artists and a thriving local scene, the Papillons de Nuit Festival knows how to please.
In 2024, the festival announces its return to Normandy with a 22nd edition not to be missed on Friday May 17, Saturday May 18 and Sunday May 19, 2024. The line-up is sure to be a heavy one, with a host of artists from the rap scene including SCH, Ninho and SDM.
On the French variety scene, you'll be able to count on the presence of phenomenon Zaho de Sagazan, as well as Eddy de Pretto, Pierre de Maere, Grand Corps Malade, Christophe Maé, Matt Pokora and Hoshi. Lost Frequencies, Santa, Caravan Palace, Ko Ko Mo and Lucie Antunes are also announced for 2024 at the Papillons de Nuit Festival in Saint-Laurent-de-Cuves.
