Summer is a great time for music festivals, but spring is just as good. It's at this time of year that the first festivals spring up, much to the delight of live music fans. Often anxious, artists take advantage of this period to warm up and fine-tune their shows before facing the summer madness.
A number of music festivals are also held in the capital every spring, including the Marvellous Island Festival with its top-quality electro line-up in Seine-et-Marne, the Banlieues Bleues festival in Seine-Saint-Denis, the Paris Music Festival, which takes over unusual venues in Paris, and the famous Jazz à Saint-Germain-des-Prés, which attracts many jazz fans to the heart of the capital every year.
And let's not forget the trendy We Love Green, scheduled every year at the beginning of June; a committed festival that kicks off the major musical festivities in Paris.
Unfortunately, the Chorus festival will not be returning to the Hauts-de-Seine this year.
