Among them, of course, is theAccor Arena, formerly known as the Palais Omnisports de Paris Bercy, or Paris Bercy to its friends. For the record, this mythical multi-purpose, modular stadium was inaugurated on February 3, 1984, in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. Since then, the greatest national (Johnny Hallyday, Dorothée, Mylène Farmer, Indochine...) and international(Madonna, Muse, BTS, AC/DC, Scorpions, Prince, Stevie Wonder...) artists have performed here.
In autumn 2015, the venue underwent a change, becoming theAccorHotels Arena de Paris. Thanks to its new geometry, the venue has grown from 17,000 to 20,300 seats. This confirms its place among the world's Top 5 venues, alongside New York's Madison Square Garden and London's O2 Arena.
