Judith Margolin reprises her show "Mudith Monroevitz" at the Théâtre de la Pépinière

Judith Margolin aka Mudith Monroevitz, performs every Monday at 9pm at the Théâtre de la Pépinière, from October 2 to December 18, in a sparkling, sassy show.

Ever since Marilyn Monroe appeared to her when she was 11, Mudith Monroevitz has been convinced that she is her Ashkenazi reincarnation. 24 years later, she still believes it and struggles to live her life. That's the pitch for Judith Margolin's zany comedy, created in 2017, and back at the Théâtre de la Pépinière. Her show is performed every Monday at 9pm, from October 2 to December 18. This is an opportunity to discover this multi-platform work in a brand new version, updated and adapted for the Théâtre de la Pépinière.

This corrosively humorous one-woman show is reminiscent of the style of Blanche Gardin, with whom Judith Margolin has worked. The show blends song, dance and humor, and the actress plays a whole gallery of characters. A packed program for 1h10 of colorful entertainment.

Mudith Monroevitz synopsis

Did you know that Marilyn Monroe converted to Judaism and loved stale tarama? Mudith Monroevitz has believed herself to be the Ashkenazi reincarnation of Marilyn Monroe since she was 11. Today, Mudith is 35. She's an actress, of course. She's single, but dreams of reproducing soon "to pass on her exceptional neuroses to someone". Tonight, she has put on her "imitation Monroe" dress for dinner with Marcus, a Cesar-winning actor. Her first date in 3 months. This delirious night will set her on an introspective quest, opening up the Russian dolls that make up her personality and driving her to question her origins and herself, until she finds her true identity and sets herself free.
