Every year, the month of October is marked by a major breast cancer awareness campaign: Octobre Rose. Throughout the campaign, a wide range of actions are organized to raise public awareness and raise funds for the cause. This initiative by thePink Ribbon association is often launched by a pink-lit Eiffel Tower, as well as other Parisian monuments.

The Eiffel Tower and other Parisian landmarks will be decked out in pink this Tuesday evening, September 30, 2025, to mark the launch of Pink October. It's an opportunity to raise awareness of breast cancer, before a month of fund-raising events. [Read more]
This year, several of the capital's iconic sites will be decked out in the colors of pink October on the evening of the launch, including the Eiffel Tower, the National Assembly and the Luxor Obelisk on the Place de la Concorde. On the Champ de Mars, opposite the "dame de faire", the general public will be able to attend a unique show.
The event takes place on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, and features a musical show by singer Carla Bruni. Hosted by Isabelle Ithurburu, the evening also features a performance by choreographer Sadeck Berrabah and his dancers, as well as other artists.
